Deserts, Canyons, & Mountains

We drove from Taos, NM to Great Sand Dunes National Park, CO today. Colorado is so much different than New Mexico, more lush and wet.





There were billowy clouds in the sky, so we got some really good footage at the dunes, but it was windy and when got to the top of the dunes, it was howling at about 80 mph and the sand was stinging my legs.

We started to make our way back west, and traveled across the lower part of Colorado.


This is where the San Juan River starts.
